School orientation, Aug. 22, 2025
School orientation will be held Friday, Aug. 22, 2025, for students in grades 2-10. Letter to parents.
Grades 2-7 arrive at 8:30am. Classes will follow the regular class schedule and the cafeteria will be open.
Grades 8-10 take the bus to Korpa at 8:50am. Classes will follow the regular class schedule and the cafeteria will be open.
First grade start of school
Students and parents of children in 1st grade will be invited to meetings with homeroom teachers Friday, Aug. 22 and Monday, Aug. 25. The first school day for 1st grade students will be Tuesday, Aug. 26.
We will operate at two locations: grades 1-7 will be at Hólabrekkuskóli and grades 8-10 will be at Korpuskóli. Parents will receive an email with information about bus schedules.
Parents are welcome to join their children for the first class period with the homeroom teacher on the first day of school. Classes will follow the regular class schedule and the cafeteria will be open.
